Over memorial weekend, I had the honor of documenting my husband’s cousin’s wedding. Being that Joey and I have been together for nearly 15 years, his family is as close to mine as it gets, so, I guess you could say I was a “guestographer” this time around.
Anne and Ryan were married on Anne’s father’s property under a chandelier and in front of their own personal tree carving (umm…how cool is that!?) and every second of it was glorious. I cried a LOT during this wedding. Like…a lot. Check out some of the highlights!
(I want to give a special props to my second-shooter, Kat, for helping me a TON so that I could be a guest as well.)
Watch out for that giant pole, Anne… 😉
Here’s Ryan, spraying on his wedding gift! Haha love this shot!
If you follow me on Facebook, you probably already saw a preview of this next set of images. Anne is an Italian girl, and as such, her whole family is Italian, including her father Ralph. It has come to my attention over the course of my lifetime that there is NO LOVE like that of an Italian daddy for his little girl. I’ve never seen anything like it, truly. So when Anne told me she was going to do a “first look” with her father, I was so giddy. You’ll see why…
If that wasn’t enough awesomeness for you, in this next set you’ll see Anne with her sisters and mom and dad taking a shot of whiskey. This whiskey was a prize that Ralph had won when he was in the military. He told himself that he was going to have a shot from it with his daughters on their wedding day. AWESOME!!! (and hilarious expressions!)
He awaits his BRIDE!
This one was taken just BEFORE they both slid off of the back of that truck like cartoon characters. We all jumped off and scurried to make sure they were ok…there they sat on their butts on the lawn, covered in champagne, laughing hysterically.
The wedding reception was catered by Sabellas and it was NOM!
Who is THAT hottie!? I should get his number…
HAD to throw this one in there! This is my awesome mother-in-law next to a photo of her father (Anne’s grandfather). UNCANNY!
And again. *tears*
Matt Barnes did an awesome job keeping the party going. He kicked things off with a challenge to see whose family was louder. Um…duh 😉 GO PONTILLOS!
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Ok, I’m a little biased. But yeah, still awesome!
CONGRATULATIONS TO ANNE AND RYAN!!!! xoxoxoxooxoxx
