I’m just going to go ahead and kick this blog post off with::: I cried. I cried a lot throughout this wedding. And then I cried again when I was going through the images on my computer. Megan and Winston’s Camp Lucy wedding was so full of sweet moments…and…ok…maybe because a few extra heart strings were pulled because they’re one of my favorite couples.
My first set of tears of the day: each bridesmaid wrote Megan a note which she sat down and read prior (thank goodness) to having her makeup done…
I love the “audience” that Megan has while she’s getting beautified. The owner of this super cute bed and breakfast (Mount Gainor Inn) walked in at this point and said “It looks like y’all are watching a movie!”…and he hit the nail on the head.
Megan got the girls matching pajamas to wear while they were prepping! How cute are they!?
While the girls were wrapping up their final preparations, the boys were chill. Very chill. Isn’t that how it always goes?
Just before the ceremony, Megan’s dad got to see her for the first time in all her bridal glory. (Cue second set of tears)
AND THEN, she gave her parents a letter…which was only able to be read for about 3 sentences before mom and dad were both too watery-eyed to read any more. So Megan took over. And then I cried again. So did everyone else though…so I don’t feel so silly 😉
I peeked around to grab a shot of Winston seeing his bride for the first time….and noticed that I wasn’t the only one with that idea…
Bridal party, y’all. Bridal.Party. 13 bridesmaids, 14 groomsmen, 2 flower girls, 2 ring bearers, a bride and a groom, and a whole lot of personality!
And can we pause for a moment and talk about these convertible bridesmaids dresses!?!?!? I think they’re my favorite dresses of all time. Convertible. The fabric was like a dream, it draped so beautifully on each and every girl. The color was just incredible. And…um…yeah….did I mention it can be worn ALL THESE DIFFERENT WAYS, and then some!? I think I’m going to buy a black one just to have for formal occassions! Amazing.
So there you have it! A doozy of a Part I for this amazing couple! I still haven’t even made it through all of the reception photos yet. There.are.sooo.many. I was so delighted to be a part of such an incredibly spectacular wedding day. CONGRATULATIONS MEGAN AND WINSTON!!!!!! xoxox
Huge thank you to my second shooter, Mylah, who rocked it as per usual.
