So a good majority of my photo shoots lately have been boudoir. Lots and lots of boudoir. Boudoir photos that are being gifted to very lucky recipients on their wedding day. This means……I’m holding LOTS of super awesome images hostage. In efforts to keep the blog posts-a-flowing in the midst of boudoir season (don’t worry, I’ll eventually share some of those, too!)…I thought I’d share a few images from my own family life.
Last weekend I snuck back to PA with my husband and my boys for a quick personal visit. This was the first time since moving to Texas that I’d been back without the sole intention of working. It was also the first time I’d been back with my husband (and his first time being back at all). All of this combined, it was nice to be able to spend a weekend with family and friends. I will warn you, this post is going to be VERY Max-heavy. You see, my precious little chubster, Max, hasn’t quite gotten the memo yet that mommy + camera = annoying. He still hams it up. So, he gets photographed. A lot. You MIGHT be able to catch a photo or two of my older son, Anthony. He has not only gotten the mommy + camera = annoying memo…but he wrote the freaking novel on how to avoid me at all costs when I’m carrying my gear.
Max and my baby bro/his Uncle Aaron…
Our visit happened to fall on the weekend of my baby brother’s girlfriend’s homecoming dance. What kind of big sister photographer would I be if I didn’t embarass the crap out of him and insist on documenting his getting-ready process and pictures of him and his giiirrrlllfriiiennd? Not a very good one. So I did.
But he’s not exactly modest, either.
On our last day there, we had another family dinner and chill day. Max got passed around to nanna after nanna, and Anthony and all his uncles ran around outside and got all smelly and sweaty and stuff.
The end. 😉
