Sarah + Matt are HITCHED!!! | Austin TX Wedding Photographer

I’ve been looking forward to this past Saturday’s wedding since this magazine-worthy couple’s amazing engagement session…and it did NOT dissapoint! Even with the drizzling weather–everything was perfect on Sarah + Matt’s big day.

The mood was relaxed and cheery at the rental house where the girls did all of their glamming…

…and the boys were hanging out at Little Woodrow’s with my second shooter, Mylah, relaxing as well!

The ceremony and reception was to happen at the historic Allan House and we planned the day so we could get portraits and my oh-so-favorite “First Look” images in prior to the ceremony. Matt was SO anxious to see his beautiful bride….and I was so mean by torturing him for several minutes with her standing right behind him but him not being allowed to turn around! I think it made THE moment a little bit sweeter, don’t you??

After photos were wrapped up with Sarah and Matt alone, we joined the rest of the bridal party for some photos in front of the Allan House. I LOVE this location—so pretty and full of southern charm! And the bridal party!? Do they look like they belong in People Magazine’s “Top 100 Sexiest People” edition or what?! I ADORE the colors—the lacey peach bridesmaids dresses (that actually CAN be worn again!), and killer heels!? Photo magic!

The guys opted for way more comfortable kicks than the girls…as you can see 🙂 I love me some TOMS!

The ceremony was SO sweet. Everything was just beautiful.

My favorite part was their vows. When Matt finished the vows he had written for Sarah, she was so moved that she reached out to grab his face and give him a kiss right there…..buttttt obviously it was too early for that! The officiant stepped in and stopped that (which is what caused all the laughing in this black and white shot!)! HILARIOUS!

And that is where I’ll stop myself!! Once again, a little bit of overkill for the teaser blog post! But what can I say!? I couldn’t help myself! I’ll hold on to the reception fun until the slideshow is released once these two lovebirds return from their honeymoon! (Sarah and Matt: I want you to have fun, I really do…but PLEASE hurry back so I can show off some of your guests’ wicked dance moves!?? Haha).
**UPDATE: after literally hundreds of emails from Pinterest followers about the peach bridesmaid dresses (yes, they are lovely!!!), I’m so sorry to tell you that these dresses are discontinued! But if you are really up for the challenge of locating them for your wedding, they are BCBG generation!***

do you by any chance know the bodycon cut out dress in bellini? I’ve searched the website and it seems to be the closest match but it doesn’t look the same to me as it does in these photos.
