I had a harder time narrowing Michelle & Matt’s wedding day photos down for the blog and highlight slideshow than I ever, EVER have for a wedding…EVER. I had so much fun at this wedding, and judging by the excitement on the dance floor at the reception, so did everyone else!
Their wedding ceremony was this past Saturday, February 26th at Wesley United Methodist church in Wesleyville, with a reception to follow at Union Station in downtown Erie. I commented to the family and bridal party many times throughout the day that it was the most stress-free environment I think I’ve ever seen pre-wedding. The overall attitude was very calm and “chill” and that made for some great photos. Check out a few of my favorites, followed by a highlights slideshow of the best parts of the day!
I was so excited that everyone was getting ready at Michelle’s mom’s house–which had great big windows all over the place. NOTHING beats natural light!
A funny shoe incident.
LOVE this shot showcasing the bride’s tattoo and her ring! I’m a big fan of ink myself!!
Groomy all ready to things started!
The cutest kids EVER! I told their mom that she was going to have a billion shots of them from this wedding! Couldn’t take my lens off of them!
Love. Love. LOVE.
Yep. This one too!
Matt did a good job of keeping Michelle warm in the 20 degree weather!
Super fun bridal party makes for super fun pictures!
First dance. Awww.
Father-daughter dance…double awwww.
This shot was actually captured by my handsome second shooter-slash fiance. I love that he turned off his flash and let the videographer’s camera light backlight the mother of the groom. Nice work!
Can’t forget the photo station!!! TOO much fun! Ohh my goodness!
And here is the highlights video of some of my favorites from the day. It was next to impossible to narrow them down to only 100 for the slideshow, but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!
A BIG congratulations to Matt & Michelle Sheldon! I had an absolute BLAST at your wedding and was honored to have been a part of your big day!
