Vintage Bridal Shoot | Erie PA Wedding & Trash the Dress Photography

By now, you all know how impulsive I am!  Some idea pops into my head, and I just dive in head first without thinking twice. In a matter of 4 days I put together a semi-styled vintage bridal shoot specifically with online and magazine publication submissions in mind. I called up a few of my publication contacts, then I got in touch with some local vendors to help pull everything together, and snagged the fabulous models {newlyweds Kristin & Bryan with whom I’ve worked with in the past}, and just so happened to book the shoot on the ONLY beautiful weather day within a 2 week span! I was praying for tons of sunlight as I knew that some serious FLARE was in order to pull off the effect I was going for.  THIS set of photos is the reason why ALL OF YOU BRIDES out there need to book a bridal session AFTER your wedding! Wedding days are busy and time will fly–there’s just not the kind of time that anyone would like to get enough photos of just YOU and YOUR GROOM enjoying each other’s company. By the end of this post, you’ll see why post-wedding sessions are a fabulous idea!

The shoot was staged at Mazza Winery & Vineyards in North East, PA. Not only is it a BEAUTIFUL location, but they are a local favorite winery…making indulgences like their infamous Concord and Niagara wines. Kristen & Bryan enjoyed the wine throughout their shoot!

Take note of the amazing bottle stopper and cute little wine glass charm! Both of these items were made by Relish Inc., a company in Erie, PA that specializes in beach glass jewelry!

And the flowers…ohhh the flowers!  This amazing vintage bouquet was created by Beth of Beth’s Flowers in Girard, PA.  Every angle of the bouquet was something different and beautiful!

Relish Inc. also created the fabulous bridal jewelry pictured…again, made with local beach glass.

Ready for some vintage glam awesomeness?!  Kristin is probably the most naturally beautiful vintage bride I have ever seen!  Married this past summer, she was super excited to be able to wear her gown one more time!

Then we brought in the groom! Bryan came prepared with a slew of hats and awesome enthusiasm for this shoot! And why wouldn’t he!? Look at his WIFE?! This couple just rocks!

Again with these flowers. Wow. They’re just fantastic!

Though it’s hard to pick favorites out of this session–THIS one is probably my favorite of Bryan & Kristin together.  holy.movie.poster.

Peek-a-boo

So there you have it! An AMAZING shoot with an AMAZING couple and an AMAZING setting with contributions from AMAZING vendors! I loved it all, hope you do too!! Keep your eyes peeled on my blog, to see where else these images pop up!

{And brides, don’t forget to book your post-wedding shoot!!}
