I really never win anything….except when I hit the 5k slot jackpot on my birthday last year {ok, yeah, so that totally counts}, and today when I got word that this photo I took of my son last year was chosen for a Merit Award for the Profotio Worldwide Childhood Photography Competition.  I’m so excited! I’ve never entered a photography contest before, ever. Everytime someone saw that picture they told me I should enter it into a competition, so I finally did. No, it wasn’t the grand prize winner, or even second or third place! But to be chosen as one of the 9 winners in the WORLD was such an incredible honor and I’m glowing from it.  So yes, that’s my little brag of the day.
